These terms govern the Brainchild Startups website, educational resources, and SHIFT app. Store-specific terms also apply to app purchases and subscriptions.
Educational—not medical—support
SHIFT and Brainchild content provide general educational information and self-guided wellbeing tools. They do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition and are not a substitute for care from a qualified clinician. They are not emergency services. If you may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a crisis service in your location.
Using the services
You may use the services only lawfully and in accordance with applicable store rules. Do not interfere with the services, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malicious content, or infringe another person's rights.
Purchases
SHIFT may offer free and paid features. Current prices and renewal terms are shown by the App Store or Google Play before purchase and may vary by location. Subscriptions are managed through the store used to purchase them. Cancellation and refund rights are governed by that store and applicable law.
No guaranteed outcome
People respond differently to regulation and wellbeing practices. Brainchild does not promise that an exercise will work every time or produce a particular medical, emotional, or functional outcome.
Intellectual property
Brainchild's original code, writing, artwork, and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms permit personal use of the services; they do not transfer ownership.
Availability and changes
Features may change, pause, or stop. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We will give notice where required by law or store rules.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the services are provided as available without warranties not expressly stated here. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded. This section should be reviewed by counsel for the jurisdictions where SHIFT is offered.
